Supplies Needed for class

1.    Single subject spirals (I will keep in class for bellwork)
2.      1½” Binder with 4 designated dividers for math work only (Labeled as:  keep sheets, graded papers, notes/homework, vocabulary)
3.      Wide ruled paper and PENCILS!!!!!!! You are not allowed to do any assignments in ink.
4.     Graph Paper (1/4 inch grid ONLY)
5.      Pencil pouch that you carry from class to class should contain pencils, grading pens, highlighters, post-its, and pencil sharpener at all times.
6.     Protractor
7.      Safety compass (can be purchased in school bookstore)
8.      Ruler (metric and customary)
9.      CALCULATOR – (Texas Instruments) TI30XS is the one I suggest
Needs to have:  multi-line view, fraction capability, square root, pi, exponents
10.    A good attitude!!  You can be successful in math this year!!

Classroom Rules and Procedures

  1. Students should always be prepared for class. Students are not allowed to return to their lockers for materials during class time, this is part of being prepared.
  2. Students are required to do all math work in pencil. Math problems MUST be written on homework papers and ALL work must be shown.
  3. Homework is an opportunity to practice a skill before the assessment. It is your responsibility to utilize this opportunity.
  4. When you are absent from class it is your responsibility to make-up missed assignments. You have one day for every day absent to make up work for an excused absence.
  5. Follow directions the first time they are given.
  6. Respect yourself and others.
